Block is Just Parry's Echo
Culinary Strike is Too Overpowered
And Counterparry and Taunt will be stupidly OP together.

Block=presumed
Culinary Strike=Its a chef. What kind of damage do you think this person can do? Even Elric's blade only does 25 damage (ignoring enchants) and its a greatsword.
Counterparry and Taunt=What is taunt?
Well I mean Battle shout not taunt
Also, If a Chef were to find a Great Sword or such and used a Ability like overblade it could deal way too much damage and U could use counterparry and Battle Shout to stall way too long
Another thing is if the Chef can reach the enemy or not. A High Aetherian Grand Chef guy or something would probably have to focus largely on being a chef and not combat, and I doubt they would be able to get overblade unless they were high leveled, and even if they did, they wouldn't be able to do much because low leveled.
Counterpoint (because I really have nothing better to do):
Parry and Block do totally different things - Parry increases blocking effectiveness while Block allows you to block with other weapons like axes.
Culinary Strike relies heavily on a Baker being able to get into melee range. Bakers have very little mobility/offensive power, due to the fact that they are primarily a support class, so Culinary Strike actually gives them some measure of defense if someone gets into melee range against them.
Battle Shout isn't a 100% chance. Even if it was, it doesn't necessarily mean the monsters would attempt to do melee attacks. For example, a Skeleton affected by Battle Shout would just start shooting at you. Unless a monster only has melee attacks, Counterparry wouldn't be terribly useful in this combo.
Uh huh, and which boss mob or mob might the combo actually work on? Ice golems, Crypt Slimes, Mummies, Zombies, Slimes, Servants of stormgarden, Endermen, Pigmen, Wither skeletons, Owltrolls, Ghouls, and many more b/c there are so many more melee than ranged mobs, also, It never explains what Parry actually does in the books so that isn't really defined either.
Sorry Im making this a big deal I just want my facts straight like u guys
"yeah, you can still parry, it’s an action, but parry the ability is a supernatural feat — it’s guaranteed and you could block an attack you would normally not be able to, such as a giant’s club"
-CK
Its fine to try and figure out stuff.
We can assume from this that parry is a technique, not a passive ability, and is capable of blocking strong attacks with a sword.
What do you think?
