Whats changed
Editing
Nothing's really changed much. Visual editor has changed slightly, but not too much (technically theres a new system but its the same as Legacy visual editor). Gamepedia users will find UCP visual editing more familiar. Classic editor is gone, but that's because its features have been moved to UCP visual. Source editing may have been slightly changed, and mobile editing is now more accessible. Most of the features in Legacy are in UCP, and those that arent are scheduled in future updates.
Live chat
Live chat is gone, but it was never enabled on this wiki anyway (thats why we have a discord server link). Now ya gotta stick with forums/discussions.
Comments, blogs, walls, polls, forums and other
Will be slightly changed. Existing posts wont be deleted. However, polls are no longer available on pages. (Theyre still available on forums/discussions.) Recent changes/wiki activity is now more compact.
Admin stuff
No changes. Staff can continue to torture the lowly editors.
Admins can customize their wiki via CSS just as they do on the legacy platform. Please note, however, that their custom code may need to be adjusted before it achieves the same results on a UCP wiki as it does on the legacy platform (due to source editor revamp).
Other
Keyboard shortcuts remain the same, as will most extensions. Some are pending in updates. Notifs are slightly changed. The videos and images namespace pages are merged. RSS feeds are no longer available.
Custom source formats and codes
You can edit your personal code on ucp.fandom.com in the User namespace. Any custom code you add there will apply on UCP wikis only, while code added to your user space on community.fandom.com will continue to be applied to legacy platform wikis until they are migrated to the UCP as well.

I prefer the legacy fandom wikis, but I've gotten used to UCP and it's not the worst like I thought it would be. Thanks for educating people on this, though!

Feels good to have someone tell me that it isnt the worst. Ive already had experience with it because UCP resembles the old gamepedia system (as it wasnt as heavily modified as fandoms and therefore was more up to date), so it isnt all that bad. Luckily my fandom knowledge, while past the budding phase, isnt that extensive, so it wont impact me a ton.
What do you think?
