Uh yea, it is. Its a fan chars weapon... if a fan character is introduced into a series with his gear, the character and his gear are canon. Not sure why you have trouble understanding that concept?

And a list of weapons may be in order as the series continues because of how rapidly the characters discard and obtain gear
