Hahaha
No
Four reasons
-Given that sysop has a lot more power than i expected, its not a good idea to receive such a massive promotion just yet, seeing as i only have 140-150 edits or so.
-Lunt would strongly disagree, given that my methods are described by him as "stupid", "unnecessary/excessive", and "a waste of space". When receiving a promotion, a large amount of supporters is ideal.
-I want the admin promotion lmao just to flex in Lunts face. Sysop, although not that far from admin, has a better looking name and seems more kool and high-status.
-Given previous conditions (as i have invested vast quantities of my time investigating this servers history) and recent conditions, I doubt i have contributed enough to be promoted anywhere above Lunt. He has made close to 450 edits now, maybe even more, not to mention that he has made several useful contributions to the wiki. Recently, as you may have noticed, I am trying to follow after this and his other advice (on new pages/revamping old pages), but this is still not enough to be promoted to a sysop.
Interesting fact regarding the promotion of pokemaster and ultraknight:
In the servers early history, many pages were barren and/or messy. One day, those two showed up, and began moving the wiki towards what it is today. The classes, abilities, and variosu other pages, along with all the fan pages, were created by them. If you have ever heard people answer to you, "Ck used to look at this wiki, but not anymore", then it is a reference to the olden days. Spy disliked both poke and ultraknight, deleting many of their edits and questioning the existence of both the fan pages and the revamping.
It was during this conflict that poke brought up the issue of his promotion. At the time, admin wasnt as prestigious a role as it was. No one had it, and it was the only other role besides founder and sysop. I assume that even if lower roles had existed, pokemaster would likely still have asked for admin, not because he was power hungry, but because those roles (that are now here) were not enough to make the wiki what it is today. Admin (and sysop) have access to several key aspects (navbar, wiki css, js request form, etc) that keep the wiki up to date and in good shape (no vandalism, faulty/erred links, crazy idiots).
