Remember, this is alphabetical, like all the other new pages!

When Adding new monsters(or mobs), make the name column either Sub-Header 3 or header 4 (when using normal edit or classic editor, respectively). At the very least, make it ANY header. It's part of the format of this page.

If you have a mob photo, add it to the respective slideshow and the gallery.

This is the new monster page, still in development. For the old one, go HERE:

General Info[edit | edit source]

Monsters were created by Herobrine to function as soldiers and by the Builders as a challenge. While each species/subspecies fall into several categories, they are only classified under one. Herobrine has also created several experimental species that are stronger than normal members of their species (excluding cake slimes). It is unknown how he achieved this (maybe by high leveled summoning and modification spells?). All monsters also have a level that indicates their strength. It is unknown what stats level affects.

Bosses and Mini-bosses[edit | edit source]

Bosses were created by the Builders as a final challenge in dungeons. Herobrine has also created several "Mini-bosses" for his army. These mobs are always very strong.

Roaming Bosses[edit | edit source]

These bosses move rather than stay in one place.

Types/Sub-types[edit | edit source]

Monsters are categorized by sub-types, which are categorized by types. For example, a Zombie would be the Reanimated sub-type, which falls under the Undead type.

Dragon (Type)[edit | edit source]

Wyrm (subtype)

Goblinoid (Type)[edit | edit source]

Humanoid (Type)[edit | edit source]

Giant (Type)[edit | edit source]

Description

Blaze Fire Low health, long cooldown. A mob is native to the nether that can shoot fireballs and set itself on fire to deal fire damage to whoever touches it. When they do this they will also shoot 3 fireballs.

Cake slime

Herobrine monster Nothing Occasionally come in hordes and do decent damage, but aren't a challenge.

The "noobiest" monster to ever bounce the Overworld.

Cave Spider

Arachnid Nothing Harder to hit, DOT, and less health.

Smaller and gives poison

Creeper

Plan Nothing EXPLODES! There isn't much else to say. Don't get caught in the explosion!

A kamikaze pig. Likely made by builders rather than Herobrine. Has natural ailurophobia.

Crypt slime

Ooze

Shadow, Acid.

Probably use ranged weapons due to eating and durability loss.

A type of slime that, if hit with a melee weapon, will reduce armor points by 2.5

Defiler

zombie Death, Magic Difficult? Not sure.

Can use the ability "Animate Corpse" to attack the player

Drowned

zombie Water? Easy, unless they have a trident. Then they're basically minibosses. If they have a trident run!

They can have a trident or fishing rod in their main hand, and a Nautilus Shell in their offhand.

Enderman

Human

Shadow? Weak against Water

Teleport behind you. Subject to many horror stories for good reason! Just pour a water bucket to defeat them.

A mob native to the end can teleport, passive until provoked by either looking in their eyes or attacking them when provoked will start screaming, deals much higher dmg than zombies and skeletons. It is hinted that they may be on Notch's side.

Endermite Arachnid Just pour. a lava bucket over them. no good drops. A pesky mob that is related to the end, doesn't do much, die on soulsand. Spawn by ender teleporting.

Ghast

Spirit

Fire

Surprisingly hard to redirect fireball, but has half a player's health.

A Ghast is always sad about something, whether it is they have no friends, flowers, or whatnot. Their tears occasionally crystalize and can be used in regeneration potions. They are quite rare now because Ghasts are hunted for their tears.

Ghoul

Ghost Shadow Use ranged weopons

If one is bitten by a ghoul, within an hour a black mark appears on the area of the bite. This turns into necrosis which spreads at a rate of 2 pixels an hour. The only cure is a Potion of Cleansing, which can remove almost any status effect, or a spell crush potion, which can remove any status effect.

Haunt

Spirit

Shadow

A small undead variant of ghost. They have the ability to drain XP.

Ice Slime Ooze Water Little stronger than the slime First, seen summon by Faolan. Probably found in cold biomes.
Magma Cube Ooze Fire Harder than the slime, and still do damage at size small. Nether version of slime. As they are far more resilient than slimes, magma cubes actually have armor values due to their abnormally hard exterior and durable interior.

Mummy

Human Shadow Just don't get hit... at all...

A mummy is a type of undead wrapped in bandages. Whoever it touches will get muffin rot, an ancient disease. After 1 hour of having the status effect, the affected person's skin will have the appearance of a poorly crafted muffin (poorly crafted muffins are lumpy), and every hour after that, all 6 attributes are lowered by one until cured or they die.

Revenant

unknown

Also known as Vampire, basically, a zombie with blue skin.

Sand Slime Ooze Earth? Fire? Little stronger than the slime A subset of Slime found in Desert and Beach biomes.

Shade

Spirit

Shadow Pray that Notch comes to save u.

A form of a ghost that can inflict all kinds of horrible debuffs. So far, shades have been known to inflict the status effects: Stun, Slowness II, Weakness, Nausea V, Blindness, Mining Fatigue, Silence, Bad Luck VIII, and Curse of Icehollow on anyone they attack.

Skeleton

Reanimated None Noobery! Absolute Noobery is this world!

A skeleton is a species of undead that is made out of bones. They are usually skilled archers, pursuing their targets from a distance. The best way to kill a skeleton is to fight it long-ranged becua

Slime

Ooze none Easy, slow, just don't go near the hungry ones.

Larger, enhanced slimes can act as tanks. These are very efficient at killing those who are unprepared.

Spectral Dragon Spirit none If the Underlord's main pet ability is casted upon this monster and they kill it, they gain its ghost as a pet (but weaker).

Spider

Arachnid none Noobery! Absolute Noobery is this world!

A mob that can climb walls fit in a 1 tall by 2 wide holes.

Wight

reanimated none Better than zombies and lower your level as they attack.It's. literally the worst ability a monster could have.

A subspecies of zombies that drains exp from whoever they hit. They are also much more lifelike then regular zombies.

Wither Skeleton

reanimated? similar to skeleton? try not to get hit...

Always spawns with a stone sword. They give the Wither status effect to whoever they hit.

Zombie

Reanimated

A species of undead that spawns with a cyan shirt, and blue pants. May occasionally spawn with armor and weapons. Zombies are programmed to advance, destroying doors, and killing all that is inside. If a villager is killed by a zombie, it will become a zombie villager. Created and modified by Herobrine. They pose little threat on their own but usually attack in groups.

Zombie Animal

Reanimated

Zombie animals are created when an animal dies from Nether Rot. These animals move more slowly than their living counterparts, but they are hostile. They always drop Rotten Flesh upon death, regardless of the original animal. They are also harder to kill than the original animal.

Zombie Pigman

Reanimated

Always spawns with a golden sword. They ignore you until you attack them (then you get rushed by a mob of them). Also has a chance of spawning with an enchanted sword and golden armor.

Zombie Villager

Reanimated

A subset of zombies. These mobs spawn rarely instead of Zombies, or when a Villager is killed by a Zombie. They can be cured with a golden apple and a weakness potion.

Pigman is technically a race, so that's gone.

Feymare dragon Air? Earth? Can fly and eat flowers and be tamed.
Horse Horses are the primary mode of transport in Aetheria. They vary in speed and come in several different breeds. They can easily be tamed with Wheat, Apples, or other food items and ridden with the use of a Saddle.

Screaming Cow cow. undead? Wails/Screams A giant cow boss. Hearing its screams causes the listener to be afflicted with Wither V.
Obsidian Giant giant. golem? Picture a 20-block tall Iron Golem. Now change the Iron to Obsidian. That's the Obsidian giant. Along with having ridiculous damage, the only thing that can hurt it is a pickaxe made from Diamond or higher.

Tarasque

Dragon A chimeric dragon. Has been terrorizing towns and villages around the capital. No amount of spells/arrows/knights hacking at it has been able to harm it.

It is uncertain, but based on the name it would be a good guess that he summons skeletons or perhaps shoots bows like a normal one? Maybe both? Does it shoot skeleton skulls instead of arrows?

Apparently S and Pebble defeated 1. There may be multiple. Is a quest monster.

Mungo

pigman

Can easily survive a creeper‘s explosion after eating it, wields two enchanted golden swords. He lives somewhere in the Nether, and once a year, he comes to the overworld searching for villages to destroy. [How is this not a boss? - AGhast1]
